Craig Halsey, President & Chief Operating Officer, reports to MBI’s Board of Directors and has full responsibility for the operational and financial performance of MBI Energy Services. Craig joined MBI in 2014 after holding leadership roles for several Fortune 100 companies and co-founding a successful consulting firm. His executive experience includes finance, business development, sales, and operational responsibilities at Lockheed Martin and Hewlett-Packard. Craig co-founded CJ2 Consulting, Inc. and served as its CEO for 7 years prior to joining MBI.
Eric Mettler, Board Treasurer & Chief Financial Officer, oversees Finance & Accounting for MBI including Financial Reporting, Treasury & Bank Compliance, Payroll, and Accounts Payable. Eric brings over 20 years of experience in a variety of financial/accounting leadership roles, including time in public accounting and controller of multi-divisional manufacturing company.
Kjersti Armstrong, Board Secretary, VP & General Counsel at MBI Energy Services, brings over 12 years of public and private sector legal experience to MBI. She is responsible for legal management and compliance; and oversees board governance, corporate records and MBI’s Human Resources, Recruiting and Insurance departments. Kjersti currently serves on the Board of Directors for the North Dakota Petroleum Council and is a respected voice in the energy industry and legal community. She received a Masters of Law from the University of Oslo, Norway in 2004 and a J.D. from the University of North Dakota, School of Law in 2006.
Brent Pringle, Chief Information Officer, is responsible for the strategy, security, and management of corporate-wide information technology within MBI. He leads team members in implementing strategic business growth objectives with sustainable technology that aligns with business priorities. Brent joined MBI in January of 2011 and played a key role in the implementation of its in-cab and dispatch driven technologies. Since then his team has successfully developed, implemented, and integrated multiple solutions that have enhanced customer satisfaction, spurred business growth, and improved enterprise efficiency and security. His team provides business intelligence technology that helps drive daily operational decisions and financial reporting. Brent graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Master of Science degree in Geography with an emphasis in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Prior to joining MBI, Brent served as the Emergency Manager and 911 Coordinator for Stark County in Dickinson, ND.
Brandon Halsey, Director of Business Development, oversees MBI’s Business Development and Sales team. Brandon began his career with MBI in 2013 and has worked in both supply chain and operations management in the energy services industry since 2011. A member of Dickinson API, Brandon and his team are avid supporters of industry-sponsored events that benefit our communities.
Marya Skaare, Director of Communication & Recruiting, joined MBI in 2017 to lead communication and recruiting strategies for MBI. She oversees and guides the full scope of MBI’s communication needs and brand, including employee and community relations, internal and external communication, marketing, creative, meeting and event planning. Her ability to plan and execute special projects while providing leadership and motivation have been hallmarks of her success in her years of experience working in small business, insurance, nonprofit and education. Skaare earned her Master of Arts degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from Emerson College and is actively involved in organizations supporting energy, healthcare and education.
