The Workover Rig Supervisor is accountable for supervision and leadership on the individual MBI service rigs as assigned by the District Rig Manager. Furthermore, assurance in customer service quality, employee mentorship and development, and managing the performance of his/her rig operation. In support of this, and equally as important, is leadership and management of the operations safety culture. The Rig Supervisors will report directly to the District and/or Regional Manager of rig operations. As with all members of the MBI team, Rig Supervisors are expected to follow the policies described in the MBI handbook, attend all internal meetings, and conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times to promote sound business ethics and maintain trust with our customers and work force.
High quality, comprehensive training is a hallmark of MBI Energy Services and has been paramount to the safety and success of our employees. MBI’s comprehensive training program includes required classroom and field training for new hires; and recertification training for our existing employees.
MBI’s week-long training program for new employees, New Hire Orientation or NHO, is conducted on a weekly basis and is open to every new MBI employee, regardless of their position at MBI. In addition to this training at our off-site, New Hire Orientation facility, those individuals who have been hired to haul water or oil will receive an additional one-week training at our Training Center.
MBI’s Training Center is located on our own 80-acre tract of land with a facility for classroom training and practical hands-on training, including a full driving course developed to model our work in the field. With dedicated training facilities and trainers who are subject matter experts teaching each course, we are able to provide unparalleled, intensive training for our employees to best equip them to serve our customers and ensure their safety and success in their careers.
