About the Job

The Residential Landscape Maintenance Sales Person must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of residential landscape maintenance to include: sales, production, customer service, estimating, etc. The Residential Landscape Maintenance Sales Person oversees all interaction with the customer and keeps them informed as to all aspects of the maintenance process. The Residential Landscape Maintenance Sales Person makes the initial contact with the client, prepares and presents the proposal documents and contract, completes the sale, interfaces with company production and accounting personnel, and interfaces with subcontractors and vendors as required throughout the maintenance process. The Residential Landscape Maintenance Sales Person is also responsible to conduct monthly walk-throughs with the client, resolve any issues discovered therein, follow through to ensure that all issues are resolved to the satisfaction of the client, and ensure all change orders/enhancements are billed properly.


Day to Day Responsibilities

• Makes the initial contact with client and takes all required measurements

• Prepares all bids and contracts

• Presents all proposals/documents to client

• Closes sale and coordinates job specifics with accounting personnel

• Coordinates job specifics with production personnel

• Interfaces with client and ensures that all of client’s concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner

• Conducts monthly walk-through with client, identifies and documents any/all discrepancies

• Provides written monthly report and files in customer file

• Ensures that jobs are kept on schedule

• Ensures that job are at or under budget

• Processes all change orders/enhancements and ensures that they are priced and processed correctly

• Assists in the development and implementation of the company’s strategic plan

Salary, bonus and/or commissions:

• Salary commensurate with experience

• Commissions based on sales and production

• Bonus and Incentive Program

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License

• Bachelor or Associate’s Degree

• Minimum of 3-5 years of combined residential landscape maintenance production and sales experience.

• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills

• Proficient in MS Word and MS excel

• Possess excellent computer skills

• Able to make effective presentations to clients

• Able to represent the company in a courteous and professional manner
