About the Job

The Hot Oil Truck Driver will perform job duties of loading, heating and pumping of fluids at high pressure and temperature, while observing gauges, equipment and safe operating procedures.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Driving a CMV in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Operating high pressure pump and burner for heating and pumping fluids.
  • Observing gauges and equipment.
  • Carrying hoses and joints of pipe from truck to well head or tank.
  • Connecting and disconnecting hoses and pipe using hand tools.
  • Ability to double chain truck tires.
  • Properly inspect equipment on a daily basis.
  • Properly complete all daily paperwork.
  • Conduct pre and post trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Maintain accurate logs.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Follow guidelines and policies set forth by MBI and customers .
  • Attend monthly safety meetings.
  • Actively participate in the company's behavior based safety (BBS) program.
  • You must accept any assignment within the Company's Driver Pool, including interstate travel.

MBI’s week-long training program for new employees, New Hire Orientation or NHO, is conducted on a weekly basis and is open to every new MBI employee, regardless of their position at MBI. In addition to this training at our off-site, New Hire Orientation facility, those individuals who have been hired to haul water or oil will receive an additional one-week training at our Training Center.

MBI’s Training Center is located on our own 80-acre tract of land with a facility for classroom training and practical hands-on training, including a full driving course developed to model our work in the field. With dedicated training facilities and trainers who are subject matter experts teaching each course, we are able to provide unparalleled, intensive training for our employees to best equip them to serve our customers and ensure their safety and success in their careers.
